Yellow Dust

Sounds like the title to a twisted Prince song--Yellow Dust.  It is everywhere right now.  It tapered off enough last night to allow a 5 miler this morning, but it has rolled back in.  On what would otherwise be a gorgeous day, the sky is clogged with an eye-burning yellowish-brown haze.  Granted, the air quality is not BAD (at least not as bad as it could be), but it is inconvenient. According to health officials, when the yellow dust level reaches 100 ppm, folks with respiratory issues should consider reducing prolonged exertion.  When it reaches 200, everyone should reduce prolonged exertions.  At 400, all prolonged physical exertions outdoor should be halted.  At 800, one should stay indoors and hope that their heart is right with God (an exaggeration, but still a relevant point).  To get an idea of how big the Yellow Dust storm was this week, check out Foreign/er's Blog.  Here is the yellow dust level at Osan as of 1300 on 3 May.
